Is it legal to ride on Quebec\u2019s bike paths?!<\/strong><\/p>

YES!<\/p>

RIDE BIKE STYLE electric bikes comply with Quebec standards. Wherever you can legally ride a bike, RIDE BIKE STYLE bikes can also be used, provided you respect the rules of the highway code in force.<\/span><\/p>

What is the highest cruising speed?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>

32 km\/h. In the factory, all our bikes are preset to have a maximum speed of 32 km\/h to comply with regulations in Quebec.
The maximum speed depends on several factors, such as the weight of the driver, wind speed, degree of slope, temperature.<\/p>

A Ride Bike Style electric bike\u2026 is it really heavy?<\/strong><\/p>

It all depends on the model you choose, but here are some examples:<\/p>

  • The Greaser, Vacay and Grizzly weigh approximately 28kg<\/li>
  • The Outsider and Tricycle weigh approximately 27kg<\/li>
  • The uTurn weighs 25kg<\/li>
  • The City, Urban Classic and Urban Prestige weigh approximately 23kg<\/li>
  • The Slim weighs 13kg<\/li><\/ul>

    How often should my battery be replaced?<\/strong><\/p>

    Our Samsung\u2122 and LG batteries will last between 800 to 1000 charge cycles. This equates to approximately 50,000 total km per battery, but provided you follow good practices:<\/p>

    • Do not let the battery discharge completely (automatic cut-off level)<\/li>
    • Never overcharge the battery (4 to 6 hours of maximum charge)<\/li>
    • Only use the charger provided by Ride Bike Style to recharge your battery<\/li>
    • First plug in the plug for the electric bike and then plug in the wall socket of the charger.<\/li><\/ul>

      How to recharge the battery and in how much time?<\/strong><\/p>

      RIDE BIKE STYLE electric bikes come with their own Lithium-Ion charger, this charger plugs into any 110V household outlet and then connects to your charging port located under the tank or on the battery.\u00a0<\/p>

      • It takes about 4-6 hours to fully charge the battery.\u00a0<\/li>
      • Only the charger supplied when you purchased your bike is suitable for your bike. Do not use any other charger as this may damage your battery and reduce its capacity.<\/li>
      • To ensure maximum lifespan, be sure to follow these instructions:
        1. Do not let the battery discharge completely (automatic cut-off level)<\/li>
        2. Never overcharge the battery (4 to 6 hours of maximum charge)<\/li>
        3. Only use the charger provided by Ride Bike Style to recharge your battery<\/li>

          How do I take care of my battery during long periods of non-use?<\/strong><\/p>

          Our Samsung\u2122 and LG\u2122 batteries will not discharge significantly during long periods of non-use (such as in winter), but a few tips should be prescribed:<\/p>

          • Do not let the battery discharge completely: keep the battery between 30 % and 70 % of its capacity.<\/li>
          • Never charge the battery to 100 %.<\/li>
